System description

This newly developed switch mode HD Multiple Cell Testing System (MCT-HD) is designed for lot testing of primary and secondary cells between 0.2 and 6 volts.

Digatron’s energy efficient switch mode amplifiers allow for packing densities of several hundred circuits per square meter. One 4U power unit holds between 32 and 64 circuits allowing for thousands of circuits even in the smallest of spaces.
Systems for secondary cells are always DC-regenerative. Depending on customer requirements, AC line regenerative discharge can be included by a state-of-the-art SiC-based inverter employing Digatron’s B.E.S.T. technology.

Due to its attractive pricing MCT-HD is perfectly suitable for high volume testing. Together with cell fixtures and operator PC the MCT-HD can be supplied as a turn-key system.

    What is B.E.S.T.

      Digatron's B.E.S.T. (Biconditional Energy Supply Tracking) technology ensures optimum energy efficiency under any operating condition. Innovative process that automatically balances the energy flows between the test circuits and tracks the energy balance of the DC link accordingly, either to regenerate 100% in the DC realm (and top off from AC as needed), or to feed excess energy back to the 3-phase grid.
