The smart cell contact unit is the perfect addition for safe working in the test laboratory. When preparing experiments with precharged cells that are wired in the test room, there is an increased risk of short-circuits. This device prevents a short-circuit on the battery under test, avoiding damage and – more importantly – protecting your laboratory staff.
The contact unit shown here is suitable for pouch cells with side-by-side and opposite contact arrangement up to a length of 192 mm. The concept can be altered to other geometries.
