The Digatron EVT 1500 was developed to test high-voltage battery packs (e.g. for electric vehicles) with up to 1,500V, 1,000A and 320kW per power section. Its unique flexibility allows single, parallel or serial operation of the two output stages, each with 750 V and 500 A, without internal rewiring via a switching matrix with single and sum outputs. The device is equipped with state-of-the-art SiC MOSFET technology and is ideal for load changes in the millisecond range and the simulation of highly dynamic driving profiles.
Both current and voltage measurements are recorded with an accuracy of 0.033%fs, providing a reliable basis for evaluating the test results.
The latest SiC MOSFET technology has reduced heat losses by almost 40% compared to previous IGBT technology, resulting in correspondingly lower operating costs.
To provide the best possible protection for your employees, the emergency stop systems are designed to Performance Level D.
Multiple power units can be connected in parallel to increase the current and power accordingly. It is also possible to integrate multiple test stations.
Thanks to its modular design, including all winding materials, a system can be easily expanded by adding additional units for more current and power.
All electrical tests specified in international standards in the DC voltage range up to 1,500 volts
